Hi! This is our 1st post so it’ll be best if it’s an introduction. I love shoes, that’s obvious or else why would I blog about it. I’m not really good with photograph so, the photos will be photograph by someone else which there will be a link or credit to them. Except somewhat feel like a SelCa photos, and that would be………….me.
I forgot since when, but after I finished my school and started to work, I decided to change little by little. I’m not a brand-person I used several brands before and the comfort and the design is not that much different to some let just say “not a world class brand” so I just flipped my hand and let just follow what the feet want. And it’s not an easy task when you’re wearing hijab but you still want to show off the pretty little thing you have in your feet.
Where do I buy shoes? Well, I do it both online and offline. I only buy online for some brands that they don’t exist in Indonesia. And I also made my own shoes. I’m a designer after all, not shoe or fashion designer though. Still, helps from fellow craftsmen are worth it.
Rest assures, recommendations for brands will be on a budget, and Indonesian budget to be exact. Ow I forgot, I’m Indonesian and have live in Jakarta for almost all of my life so all of the shoes will be Indonesian friendly.
I don’t use personal car everyday, so I use public transportation, Jakartans must have known the word ‘Transjakarta’. Why? Because I support Go Green movement, so personal cars is out of my working life now and its frustrating driving in here. For people who lived or have been to Jakarta know how the traffic and how polluted Jakarta is. So I’m not going to use personal car anymore to move around with and excuse of “Jakarta is polluted”. Well to tell you the truth if each people driving their own cars, no wonder there’s heavy pollution in our lovely city.
Which is why, I write this to encourage people that you can be fashionable even when you using public transportation. Let’s work for a better future shall we.
Let’s walk those pretty feet!
