The Indonesian Local Shoe Day

Not many people in Indonesia know that starting 9 March 2011 ago, friday is our local shoe day. Aiming so Indonesian know about their own local products. As many fellow Indonesian know already, friday is Batik day, and not only friday, some of companies in Indonesia take saturday or thursday also as Batik day. This means that in the offices you will see people wearing Batik. And the result is amazing. There's a lot of people wearing it, and people know Batik more, not to mention the 1 step level that all the small batik Industries can take. So we're going to do the same with our own local shoes.

As far as i know, i started wearing local brand because it's good in quality. You can find a whole range of shoes, and nevertheless the price you can get is going to be around IDR 600.000,00 wait for it, for a real leather. And there's a lot of shoe craftsmen that provide custom design  even if you order 1 piece, of course the price will be cheaper if you order 20-30 pairs.

I tried a lot of shoes with a lot of range prices, and brands that still on my list 85% of them are our own local brands. Well, i walk, i uses transjakarta buses, and i always use them. They're comfortable, they last long enough, and we already have a whole lot of designs. I bought 2 flats recently in Centro. And i just love them.
So will you wear Indonesian Local shoes?
